I wonder if she's a prop or a fly-half? Of course there is another position, but I forget the number to make a decent pun/joke out of it...

Very nice.
They look a lot better than the standard ones :(
If you ever feel like doing these en masse let me know.
I might be persuaded to redo my tomb kings with these ;)

As some of you may have noted, I'm very quiet regarding the Tales :(
The reason is that I'm busy preparing a new campaign for the whole french territory :)
And for that campaign I'm converting my main bad-ass character: Be'lakor.

My target is to get as close as possible to the 28mm version:

I've started with that Khorne demon:

And after a lot of cutting an sculpting I'm there:

Still a lot to do like horns, armor fragments, and wings, but I'm quite please with it so far :)

That's fabulous.  :o I'd thought about making him based on the Epic Angron model but this far outstrips what I'd be capable of. Stunning. Who else can we look forward to seeing?

EDIT: If I were to be inappropriately critical (in a constructive sense) then I'd say that Be'Lakor's pointing finger is a key/identifying feature of the original model. You've also made him left-handed. Of course, in the face of such sculpting prowess you've every right to respond with this expression:  ::) ::) ::)!

I wish I could sculpt like that.
Great work, looking forward to seeing more.

Better picts and more work on details before starting the wings:

I added a lot of details there: horn's piercing, top of head, chain-mail, skull, armor on right thigh, claws on left thigh, modified face (mixed green and metal colors don't help to see that properly on the picture), etc.

I'm still at the "learning by doing" step, so it seems like it takes ages...

Missing details to do: claws on right thigh emerging though the armor, various straps and piercings.
I'm wondering if I'm redoing the top of its head, less bulky. Your opinion?

Wow! I can't wait to see this with wings on.

As for the head, it looks fine but in my traditionally picky way I think that yes, it might be a little thinner. It's hard to see from the pictures but perhaps the horns are also a little long at the section that comes out of the head? I'd be tempted to bring them in closer to the head and to sweep them upwards a little bit.

I just wish I was playing in your campaign!

Yeah, I hesitated a lot about that pointing finger stuff. And since that is my first real sculpting I decided I should not add too many work where I could avoid it. I'm not sure if I was wright ;)

The left-handed sword comes from the same rationals. And in addition to that, my point os view is that daemons should be left-handed since in christian mythos they all are (left is the devil's side).

Regarding my "sculpting prowess", well, I'm sure proud of my work, but still I know I have a LOT to learn and improve like anatomy, sharp-edges, smoothing, speed, etc.

The wings will be a real challenge. Those things are HARD to do :(

From the 28mm version I would say the horns are long enough. And the top of the head should be bulky as well. Still it does not give the exact same feeling... But since I have other minis to sculpt for the campaign I must go on and accept it is not perfect

You and all others are more than welcome playing the campaign. But you'll have to come in France ;)
Or you could run your own!

How about use pewter modeled wings (from a dragon/vyvern or 28mm model)? Maybe you could find a pair that fits and only have to do the attach with green staff

But that would be far too easy :)
I would not learn anything ;)
