The moss bits really make that base. Lovely all around!
Everything is better with lizardmen.

I didn't.
Got them from bits in the WFB Sphinx box :)

I need your advices guys.
I'm looking for a REAL dragon for my HE army.
I found WM one WAY too small.

For me a real dragon scale is this one:

I was thinking about maybe using this one (with some conversion, changes pose, added scenery, on a 4x4cm base):

What do you think?

If you choose to have your general on a dragon 3 times bigger than an Emperor Dragon - you're probably opening yourself up to accusations of compensating for something... =-P

Another possible mini, far less epic, still quite bigger than official dragon:

Would require big convertion btw (added muscles, sculpted scales, larger wings, changes pose).

I really like the dragon in your second pic- the yellow one in flight.
Do you know the origins of it? I wouldn't mind one of those myself one day (I've always considered the GW dragon to be a 'sun dragon', the GW emperor dragon to be a 'great dragon', and have wanted a true 'emperor dragon')

Beautiful work on all your painting and conversions!!!

There are a number of miniature companies that do some decent Dragons that you might like to investigate;

Dark Sword Miniatures (I used one of their Dragons for my High Elves),
Reaper Miniatures,
Ironwind Metals Miniatures,
Ral Partha Miniatures.

DSM Dragon are nice, but too small/thin for my linking. But definitely better than WM one ;)
Reaper Miniatures, a few nice and big beasts, but pose are not compatible with WM (would require like a 20cm base ;) )
Ironwind Metals Miniatures, missed this one. Some interesting dragons here, but no scale/size info :(
Ral Partha Miniatures: not convinced by their dragons so far.

It's from Soda Pop Miniatures as part of the Super Dungeon Explore box.

If it is for a character I will go for the big ones (the flying one is really awesome), the one sitting on the ruin is sooo nice and powerfull.

If you are going to use it for dragon raider, then I go for one which fit the 40x20 base in order of the game playbility.
