These are roughly the emotions I felt when I saw your Nakai. He looks amazing! I have been fiddling around with some bits to make my own for my lizardman army and he does not compare at all.

Great work, please keep posting these beauties!

In preparation for the Tales I'm converting Undeads.
I've already done 1 unit of chariots and 1 unit of archers but I'll take pictures a bit later.
In the meantime as someone suggested here is a tutorial about how I convert undeads for my project:

This is pretty time consuming for spearmen because they have 7 shields per strip (about 2h; but I expect to find some speed tips).
Other units have far less shields and take less than 15min to convert.

Fantastic stuff. Thanks for the tutorial. Any chance of seeing a shield next to a ruler? Having rejected undead as an army you've now inspired me to start one up as soon as the Chaos are done so I'll be watching your posts closely.

I'll do that in a couple of days when taking pictures of other minis.

Ahhh... makes more sense now how you cut down the shields. Given my greenstuffed shields are taking forever, definatetly seems like this method would speed things up.
Thankies for the tutorial.

I want to have fortification but existing one are way too expensive.
Hence, I decided to scratch-build them with inexpensive material: extruded polystyrene foam.

Here is the prototype:

Wall are 12.5cm section. Gate could be removed from the gateway.

Foam is engraved with a milliput negative I've molded from a scratch-build wall.
This way I can produce wall very fast. I'm now ready to mass-produce walls, towers and gateways :)

why didn't you scale each section to be long enough to fit a warmaster stand? or 3 warmaster stands
