Beautiful!!

I had the same idea about a chariot being pulled by 4 horses.  Only have mine 1/2 painted at the moment - I only used a normal chariot though - no extra modelling skills needed.  I was also considering using Ushabti for an alternate Bone Giant but ended up using some Tomb Guard.... well, I've purchased the minis.  Just need to make and paint them now.

Beautiful work, yet again! I love the Sphinx idea - I don't ant to touch my Undead until you're done so I can steal all of your brilliant ideas!

Those undead look awesome!  I am working on one Ushabti conversion as well.  I really like what you did with the Sphinx.  And the painting looks great!

As for the infantry -- how did you do those shields?  I want to use the idea for the TK skeletons that I need to paint up.

Those Ushabti as bone giants - such a marvellous idea!  Makes me wonder if there's any other 28mm pieces that could be used like that.

I'm planning to paint a 2000pts Khemri army. But I do not like the "dark-ages" feeling the official minis have. They should have an egyptian feeling instead as the WHFB minis have. So I decided to test a conversion to make them more like their WHFB counterpart.

1st step, remove scythes, replace shields:

2nd step, template painting:

This is much more Khemri-looking from my point of view, so I will start mass-producing them from january.

Great work! Going to use this for my TK!

Sphinx almost completed:

This basing color scheme is different from the one I used previously. But I like it better so I will re-base the already complete units.

That tutorial and the idea of more authentic Khemri undead has turned the Undead into a viable / desirable army to me!

I'm glad that is inspiring so many person :)

Here is what I've done today:

I will add freehand on the various banners but I will do so later, when the whole army is painted and based. This way I could start playing with it earlier ;)
