Recommendations WM Daemon Chariots
« on: June 20, 2021, 08:22:56 AM »
Hi all, as GW never made Warmaster Daemon Chariots I'm looking for recommendations about how to source some?  Are there any nifty 3D prints you know of, or have you cracked an awesome kit bash I could replicate?  All suggestions welcome.

Do you recommend them?  The detail doesn't look amazing based on the picture, but perhaps it's not the best photo?

Yes, they're fine. They fit in with the rest of the Blackgate range very nicely indeed.

My plan has been to convert some, but you're probably better off press-moulding some of the critical models given how much the original daemons cost.
My plans are:
Slaanesh chariot: Dark Elf chariot (from character pack) with GW daemonettes and seeker steeds
Tzeentch chariot: Flamers (from the Horror command strips) with Screamers and some greenstuff work done to old disk-shields to make the chariots. These are probably the easiest to make as the flamers could be scratch built relatively easily.
Khorne chariot: Chaos chariot, Juggernaught from the character pack and Bloodletters.
Nurgle chariot: Orc chariot (from the character pack), with Beasts of Nurgle and Plaguebearers

One other version I've seen used Chaos Chariots with Chaos Hounds and Bloodletters- that may be one of the cheapest and easiest to make.

Those are great ideas Geep.  Alas I don't have the models for that and they are very rare online  :'(, but I'd love to see your work.

I made my own. Now you can get loads of options from 3d printed vendors.
