What are the best BFG bases to get nowadays?

Sorry if this is an odd or obvious question.

I know that GW sell transparent flyer bases in 32mm and 60mm sizes, are these the best thing to use?

I bought a small Eldar fleet on eBay about 5 years ago.  It had no bases with it.  I probably won't get to play it for a long time but I thought if I could get some bases and treat it as yet another 'side project' it might be nice to do, ha ha.
