What does a Bombardment Cannon look like?
« on: April 21, 2020, 08:42:43 AM »
Help needed, I need some inspiration to model a Bombardment Cannon (normally mounted on Space Marine Strike Cruisers and Battle Barges). I just have no clue what one would look like. Do you have any ideas or anything? Please share them here (pictures would be even better!).

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like an absolute monster, big diameter mortar-like with multiple warheads peaking out. Or something off the back of one of those missile trucks. Maybe a huge cannon with a body that can handle the recoil or some sort of crystal on the end to focus destructive force. Sorry no pics but hopefully something there will get the juices flowing.

If you look up pictures of the Space Marine Battle Barge then you'll see them along the dorsal section and top of the main hull. The look quite similar to Lances to be fair.

Similar basic turret to a lance, but a single large calibre barrel, instead of multiple barrels
theres no such thing as over kill, its just making sure
