Tale of Warmaster Painters: October 2017
« on: October 16, 2017, 11:04:42 PM »
No new threads have been made the last few months so I hope its ok for me to start this months.

I managed to paint a unit last week, normally I'd batch paint 2 or 3 units, but this time I wanted to time myself painting 1 from beginning to end, and photo each stage. Its scary the time it takes, I'm already considering ways to be more efficient, and realise (with these guys) I didn't have to paint every detail, highlight every belt etc...

Anyway, the results of 12 hours. I don't know if this is good going, or ridiculously too much on 10mm!!

Yep you do not need to highlight every belt detail, the result is awesome!

with dwarves I use to highlight the beard and the shield, IMO is the two major features of the figures.

really nice work Sir!

They look great, that's a good idea, nicer than a die marker 🙂

Not been here for a while.

Nice markers ! Do you really use them on table ? Is it worth it for the ambiance ?

The dwarves are incredibly detailed , good job done sir . It really is down to how much time you have and how you want your army to look as an individual unit and as a whole .
Hope your able to show us more of your project .
