Tale of Warmaster Painters: July 2017
« on: July 08, 2017, 07:21:15 PM »
Hey, it's gone quiet but I thought I'd put up the topic again in case anyone wanted to share what they are doing!

Since I finished my Dark Elves, I'm on to Empire, now.

Initially I thought that the low hanging fruit of the cannons and steam tank would appeal to me but weirdly my muse dragged me towards the really intricate Knights.

Here is my first test strip that is 90% complete.  Just need to figure out the feathers and touch it up.

Those are some good looking Knights to start us off.

I'm all about orcs at the moment. Should have finished a strip or two tomorrow and will update with pics.

Not managed to get around io the actual unit of orcs but I did paint a general and shaman instead.
Photo seems to have washed out all the highlighting but never mind!

EDIT: Edited the images to be an acceptable size rather than SUPER size.

Small update - 2 strips of blue themed Orcs. Decided to try out some face paint, just a simple strip down the centre of each boy'z face.
Couple things noticed now I've re-scaled the images, I need to matte them down a little more. The decal's edging is showing on the banner (didn't to my eyes but does under the camera oddly) so I'll have to fix that too.

What he just said!  Nice Slayers.
"I cannot believe you when you say [your friend] has identical plastic boxes for his armies, all color coded [...] Don't you think that is being little obsessive?"
"Yes, but not enough to scare us wargamers."
