Acrylic Matt Varnish spray
« on: March 31, 2017, 04:15:19 AM »
I've always used varnish I can paint on but has anyone found a budget Matt varnish that gives a decent result? I've got a fair bit of terrain that needs a blast and the army painter stuff isn't cheap. I'm in the UK.

Testor's Dullcoat has been my go to for many years after a Purity Seal frosting incident. It's not acrylic, but that shouldn't matter.

Cheers Dave.

Seems to be a bit hard to come by here but looks like it's the best stuff. It was discontinued for a while when it failed to comply with EU regulations. They've got a complaint formula but can't find it in stock anywhere. I'll keep an eye out.

www.antenocitisworkshop.com normally stock it but I've just checked and they've only got paint on stuff right now. Might be worth asking if it's likely to come back in stock?
