Good stuff Barry a cracking kickstarter.  I'll be upping my pledge (yet again!).  Personally, I wish the startled/scared human in the giant picture would be available as a kickstarter exclusive! ;)

Just noticed some Ogre Kingdoms army list changes in the first WMR armies version for those that are interested:
4 - Iron Guts to 140pts
5 - Ogre Bulls to 105pts
24 - Rhinox Riders changes
32 - Ogre Leadbelchers as CD Blunderbusses
33 - Ogre Scrap Launcher to be added
34 - Ogre Butcher Rhinox mount

I don't care about the rules - that's just a suggestion for an experimental list.  I'll write my own list, same as wood elves, just so that I can use all the pretty models I like the look of. =-D

OK, putting up my pledge up by £30 for four greenlings and a scrap launcher!

And £3801 now.

I can't help but think that the Mammoth Riders would make good proxy Chaos Knights or even Dragon Ogres, were a player so inclined. Just a thought - that hopefully might encourage a few more pounds out of backers...

Want to see it over £4k, then I'll put more in for a couple of Lobbas.

If you put in the £12 for two lobbas now... we'll be £12 closer to that goal. = P

Well seeing as £4k has been passed, there's no rush now. I'll bung it in nearer the end.

Congratulations Barry!

Thank you.

Will post a proper update tomorrow but basically we are now in the realms of additional free stuff because the range is done. Bits of art work, additional sculpts to add variety to units. Whatever I can come up with :)

First up I reckon will be the Ogre General. Free to everyone who buys a unit of Mammoths and the Character Pack.

This guy is going to cost me quite a bit to produce, the art is more expensive than normal, plus the sculpting, moulding, casting etc. £300 stretch goal, we are on £4,133 and so almost 50% of the way there already!

This Kickstarter has really been amazing.

Wow that went quick.

-The 'astonished guy' freebie would be funny.  :D
-A set of sabretooth tigers to add with the characters?
-Special character figure Golfag Maneater!

I look forward to it!

I think that probably we are spent now - I am absolutely gobsmacked and super happy it's gone this far.  The only thing I could possibly wish for now would be a Monstrous Mammoth figure or a Cave Lion unit.  I know those won't happen so I'll probs go to Eureka for those!

Update 9:

The Ogre army is complete, now time for some fun stuff!

We have gone past the £4,000 mark and that means the whole of the Ogre army will be sculpted. I am speechless at how well this has gone.

So now is the time to start giving stuff back to you awesome people who helped make this Kickstarter a success.

First up will be an awesome free character model for everyone who pledges for a minimum of a unit of Mammoth Riders and a Character add-on pack.

This guy is going to cost me far more than normal to produce, partly due to the incredible art that Christian produced. So the stretch goal is going to be set at £4,300. Things are moving very quickly at the moment and are already on £4,135.

Ogres forever!

Pledge increased. Again.  ;D

Barry, are you sure the Lobba will fit on a 40x20mm base?

I promise to do my best with the Junk Lobba basing.

At worst, the four legs of the Mammoth and the wheels of the Junk Lobba will be on the base, with some overhang at the front (tusks) and back (flat bed). Hopefully, any overhang will be at a higher level than normal 10mm stuff.

Also, not all the artillery pieces GW produced fit well on 40mmx20mm. It's a lot of model to fit in a small space and the scale of the miniatures has to be constant, so I can't "shrink" the Mammoth to make it fit.

Hopefully that explains where we are at with the Junk Lobba.

Nice one Barry. If you could give us an indication of the overall footprint - when you know it - buyers can then look at possibly sourcing a larger base size (50/60x20 perhaps). Hmmm, could you even include a bigger base in the pack if needs be?

Now, the obvious question is 'what next'? Dare we ask for a Skav, errm, Ratmen army from your goodself?? It's the one army that there are no decent alternative figures for.

Edit: Perhaps as part of this Kickstarter something simple, say a Rat Swarm, to gauge interest in a Ratmen army? The swarm is not something that is available elsewhere and thus could be a useful extra to aid sales on your website even if you didn't go on to produce a whole army.

Whilst the official bigger scale artillery have animals pulling them, I would honestly only want the most detailed launcher possible for a 40mm by 20mm base.  Kind of like the Orc Rock Lobba.
