Tau and Traders First Appearence

Can anyone tell me I'm what media specifically did Rogue Trader Rules and profiles first appear? Same it's Tau Orcas and Defenders? Compendiums? Magazines?

Tau appeared in BFG magazine 17.

I found Rogue Traders in BFG magazine issue 19, the last one.  GW also put out a pdf with more complete rules, but I sadly don't have it anymore.

Been replaced with the updated FAQ/Compendium 2010 rules.
