Warmaster in Moscow
« on: January 13, 2016, 08:40:14 AM »
Almost 4 years passed since we started playing Warmaster in Moscow. There is nearly a dozen of players with different armies. Here are the oldest two forces: my High elves 2700pts and my friend's Mortal Chaos 2900pts.

Good to see..... !!   NOTE:  if you have people that are trying to register with the forum and have problems (not unthinkable as we have had a LOT of spamming from Russian ISP and IP) then use PM to contact me to "guide them in".

Some photos of our last battle. We compiled as much beautiful pieces as we could and got it started! Unfortunately it was only duel, we hoped two more players would come to have command 2x2 game.

The scenario was to control the two towers at the left and right flanks and to burn houses in the village. It was very interesting not only to kill, but in first place to perform a combat task.

Great stuff!  Thanks for sharing.

Can you tell me which rules you used for the river?  There are several suggestions in the official rulebook but nothing that you MUST use.

We have the only one bridge, so we decided that rivers can be crossed by everyone. Units must stop at the edge of water, than they must be given another order for movenment further. If some unit is in a river it has -1 order penalty, it is NOT in defended position and rivers do not block LOS.

Any wargame is good only when it is more than 'kill everybody'! We also play Dropzone Commander very frequently. Beautiful tactical game, one of the best!

Great looking armies.
I am envious at the size and activity of your local Warmaster community!

It's hard to find good bridges - it depends on the width of the river. =-<
