Kyussinchains' Warmaster projects
« on: December 21, 2015, 09:07:18 AM »
So finally, I laid brush to model last night, having never painted a warmaster model before, it's still heavily WIP but I'm pleased with how its turning out, its table ready now so I'll go back to it after I get my other DE reinforcements ready :)

Neat! My first ever Warmaster miniatures were a stand of DE spearmen.

Nice! If it were my figure, I'd paint the mane a lighter colour than the body, just to bling it up a bit.
Welcome to Warmaster!!!!

Very nice!! He'll make a great centrepiece to your army

Cold One Riders are fairly straight forward to paint

Thanks everyone :)

I'm going for the quick drybrush method with the cold ones, prime black, drybrush lizards white then inkwash turquoise/green, it looks reasonable on the first few stands so far :)

Having come from 6mm scale I have to say I like the larger size of the models, although that does make mistakes more obvious ;)

I spy some Fists in the back there, as if you didn't have enough already. =P

Nice!  I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your army.  Dark Elf models are a little hard to come by aren't they?

It looks great. What else do you plan to add to the army?

I'm lucky insofar as I bought a fully painted 2k army a couple of years back, it was a bit light on the knights (2 units) so I'm adding four more units as well as another bolt thrower unit

Like the look of that character.  Let's hope he doesn't fall foul of your recurring do-I-execute-him-for-blundering difficulty!

First roll of the game most likely....

Four units of cold ones awaiting basing, these guys are tabletop standard and could do with a bright silver drybrush but will do for now :)
