discok3,
Did you find ships yet?
I'm curious to see what you have done so far.

I honestly have never held a dreadfleet ship, really curious for pictures of the warmaster troops with them when you get a chance.

Hello cjb22

I can't find any info on size but the Napoleonic ships say they are cut from 3mm birch so that gives an idea of size.

Cheers

I was staring at the pictures they have in the warmaster rulebook.  Just some scenery shots of the elves leaving a sea side fortress and a ship with a few of their character models on it.  I think it was elves, but maybe empire but I remember a dragon, no matter...It looks like the ship is just carved out of any foam sheets with some really heavy cardstock cut and glued to the sides to look like timbers and then more of those wooden dowel rods for the masts and yards just like the ones shown.  Clothe like paper for the sails.

I keep thinking of the warmaster magazine that shows how they built the town buildings, cant remember which magazine it was though....I believe it had a picture of a city scape getting raided on the front, one of those night images with the fake fires all around for street lanterns or as soldiers would use to see in the dark.

I made these ones some years ago for Tears of Isha campain

Its have enough space to fit a couple of standard wrm infantry bases along the deck (3 in the case of Death Galley) + 2 of 2cm round  bases of RBT. So the deck has average dimensions of 4,5x16-20cm.
