That's a great modelling idea with the Flagellents!  What else do you have in the pipeline for us?
"I cannot believe you when you say [your friend] has identical plastic boxes for his armies, all color coded [...] Don't you think that is being little obsessive?"
"Yes, but not enough to scare us wargamers."

Thank you both!  The chain idea was actually Ithoriel's from the Pendraken forum, though I think he's on this forum too.

I just finished my General today.  He also took some converting.  Here he is before painting.

I replaced the hammer that was formerly on his shoulder with sword, took off the feather on this helmet for a wreath, and then added the cloaks and capes to him and his entourage.

I was a little hesitant to try white armor, that is totally new for me, but I love the results!

I still need to figure out a good ornament for the top.  Maybe once my collection of 10mm figures grows I can find something.

That character rocks! I see some pikmen in the background :)

For the helmet some cool elements that are affordable to do with greenstuf is:

-a Tower

-a couple of wings https://alexhmuseum.wikispaces.com/Middle+Ages+Artifacts

- a bird in a jail  :) http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/works-of-art/22.229 (that is difficult)

-a couple of fishes https://www.pinterest.com/pin/513410426242681643/

To find examples of Empire helmet ornaments the keywords for googling it are Tournament knight 15 16 century

hope you will find inspiration

Yeah, nice character. I like the standard. Simple but beautifull.

Alright, forgive me everyone, but this next part is not a proxy!  I was able to get these Empire cannons for a decently reasonable price, so I went for it.

Not as exciting I know.  But it is fun to have my first GW models.  Next thing up will be some converted Scots short pikemen to Empire Spearman.

Really nice painting job. You could add a third colour by painting the carriage or something, but it's nice like that too.

Just one opponent, and we are still just painting and working on our armies.  We haven't played a game yet!  Just studying the rules and dreaming so far.  He has the starter set of Tomb Kings.

Any particular colors in mind?  I'm not sure which one would work well.  Maybe yellow?  Though I'm not sure a yellow carriage would look great.

Here is my next update.
Some Stalwart Imperial Spearmen!

I used the Flodden Scots short pikemen.  I added some spear tuffs, some feathers, and also I attempted some puffy sleeves.

Sleeves work very good! nice work.

Defenitively the inclusion of the feather gives a really GW Empire look.
