I have made a configuration to play this battle with 1000 points per army.
I am not going to expand this threat with historical background, so I sum up it in a line or two. The French has taken control of Italian territory. Europe can not allow French to have those territories and the sea ports of Italy, so all the mayor forces of Europe made an alliance to attack the frenchs in italian ground.
Pavia: the king Francisco I of France is holding a siege to the city of Pavia. An Austrian-Spanish army aproach the french army to free the siege. This battle represent the battle against the two armies and exclude the siege battle.
Tabletop: The battle takes place inside a walled perimeter of the Mirabello park (large are - all the table). It has two river steam, three main forests, and the castle of Mirabello on the top of a hill.
River steam: All units type could pass through the steam, but it stop their movements, and another command order is needed to move through the river.
Forests: See in the map.
Castle of Mirabelo: Can fortifed 3 units. Treat the whole castel as a tower.
Marsh: see in the map.
deploy zones: see map. Imperial army enters the park of Mirabello through a brech in the walls so it deploys in column (2 units per frontal max).
Mood of the battle: Imperial army advance in column, and is surprise by flank.
Special: because the battle is fought inside a walled perimeter, all Imperial units that goes out the table count as destroy. Not the french because the Gates of Wall perimeter belong to french army, so they have to roll the dice
First turn goes to Imperial army.
Lenght of battle is random numer of turns, use the turn generator.
