BFG Ship Cards - Classic
« on: August 14, 2015, 01:10:11 AM »
Hi folks:

New member here. This is something I made up several years ago for my own use, but I was wondering if it was something worth sharing?

Suuuuper duper cool, dude. I want more haha :P

The only problem I see for these is the matter of compatibility, depending on whether people are playing BFG Classic, BFG: Revised, or BFG: FR (French edition?).

But yes, having cards would make my gaming so much easier. Right now I have to use like 6 types of dice to track all the damage, special orders, etc. Laminating a few of these cards and using dry-erase/washable markers on them would work much better.

Always worth sharing all of them. Just state which set of rules you used and all is fine. And I can add them to the big rules thread I guess.

Their BFG Classic. Straight out of the original rule book that was posted on the GW Website back in the day. If there is enough interest I'll work on the stuff in Armada next. After that who knows?

I stumbled across these last night, they were done eight years ago for a game in Charlotte, NC. Figured these were going to disappear if I didn't get them somewhere.

Is this forum a good place to upload the files? Any type of limit. I'll add all tonight after work if it makes sense?

Michael Ivancic

The forum itself doesn´t lend itself well. But if you upload to Google Drive, Dropbox or similar you can place the link here.

Or you can mail it at me and I will make it available.

Yes, I figured that was coming.  :)

I have a nice templet, and these are now easy to produce. I cranked out the Ork last night (never got around to them eight years ago).

I'll get what I've got done up tonight. One thing I need is for people to give these a good proofing. I would really love to eliminate any errors.

That's how I do it Xca|iber. The capital ship's are designed to be folded over so the critical hits are on the back.

Ok, let me experiment with this. I've got a dropbox account I use for everything. If that works, I can go with that. I need to do a little reorganization in my folders.

Everything looks good I got them all downloaded just fine, are these from bfg2.0 or are these from the original rule book?

I've been out of BFG for at least eight years. These are from the last book that was available on the GW web site, most likely downloaded in 2008-2009 time frame. Is that 2.0?
