I love the tones on your trolls - not too lurid but with plenty of standout. I think that's the best way to paint the more cartoony sculpts.

Great stuff all round!

It's ALIIIIIIVE!

Hey fellow hobbyists. Work took a huge chunk out of my time for family and hobbying and when it finally let up our club had an upcoming convention to put together. Anyways - finally found the time and the geist to do something again :)

- I have started up the work on my ogre's, 5 units worth. Still lots to do so no pictures.
- I am working on a custom wyvern for one of the Polar Fox wyvernriders
- Magog the hill giant is getting customized so that he doesnt look so clean/naked.

Very fun to be up and running again :D

Great work on the giant. The Wyvern looks cool, though I'd want an extremely good, padded saddle to sit astride that thing...

Nice!  I can't look too close though as I need another project like I need a hole in Da Ead!

Thanks Geep and Gun_wun :)

Wyvernrider will get a nice and comfy seat as per request.
Meanwhile - Giant got himself a pair of pants.
Also, some of the boys have begun work on a looted steamtank for when one of the big-unz wants to command in style!
Lastly - Ogres slowly coming along.

Very happy to have found some inspiration again. I have found a thermoplastic from "Green stuff world" that I am using to copy details and adding to my builds. Pretty easy and good results. The rest is trial by error since I have done close to no sculpting in green stuff before.

Will update again when I have some finished results to show off! ^^

Nah, Except for sculpting the clothing and fur on the giant I am just copying existing GW-stuff using this product:

http://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/26-reusable-blue-stuff

With that said - it is very fun to do "your own"-stuff and looking at what Gun_wun and others on the forum is doing is a big inspiration to do something completely original some day. Just have to paint thousands of points OnG's first and then I have that VC-army next and then....

Wow, that's cool. I didn't even know that something like "bluestuff" existed. Good to know. Thanks for the link. But nice work anyway. :D

Red wunz go fasta!

Conversion done! Might do another one someday. Not 100% happy with this one. But 90% is still good enough ;)
Army painter dip is still drying so still got the matte spray, some detailing and then basing. It'll probably look good when on the battlefield with the rest of the army.

Very nice (and odd). What will it count as in-game?
