Model finding help- 10mm horses

Hi all,

I'm looking for 10mm scale horse models, ideally 'wild' horses with no bridle, saddle, rider or anything like that, and active poses would be great.

Does anyone know of models like that? I've looked through the catalogue here and not found anything, and I've searched a few known producers, but most have no photos or descriptions of their product (and don't seem to reply to reply to emails asking for information).

Any help very much appreciated!

that actually seems a nice buy..... funnily enough when I looked on the brand name on the pack I find a website that does n-scale trains etc. but no mention of these....

Which specific thing are you looking at? Your link just takes me to a general google search.

A lot of the 'n-scale' photos link to H0 products... that gets frustrating.

Irregular are worth a look, can't recall if they have wild horses but they do have assorted other animals.

Pendraken may have some farm animals soon.

Irregular horses may be ok, but they suffer from what many mini producers seem to: No pictures! They list 'horses' under accessories, and the plains indian horses may be ok and have a pic- but the pic is pretty poor  I'm quickly becoming amazed at how poorly these sites advertise their own product (though I do know it's a lot of effort to photograph it all- especially if you want it to be painted first).

In my opinion, Irregular sculptor has good horses, but I do not have the reference so I have never seen the figure.

These horses here look the right size (going by the catalogue on this site) and are consistent with the running pose. They have riders and all the usual horse paraphernalia unfortunately, but there's a good range of riders so I can work with it. I may even keep the riders. Some horses seem to have an overly-flat back, but again that's a pretty easy fix.

Has anyone bought from these guys before? Anything to be wary of?

Copplestone figures are some of the best.

The only thing to beware of is spending all your money.

Copplestone is certainly a great sculptor, he is doing great figures since the 80's when worked with Granadier and Games workshop (citadel).

I have never had problems with his invoices. I recommend it. The quality of 10mm figures is also awesome.

If you do not mind the horse has a rider, also TB line remark his horses and you can find in his ranges an effort to sculpt different races of horses. Great sculpts, dinamic poses. The problem is Fabio is not answering emails, but his webpage still "open" so I am not sure if the company is still active.

I have a load of riderless TB Line horses (and Old Glory), but I'm fairly sure they all have saddles. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks for the ideas. Those TB line medieval horses look the part. The rider being separate is great and I should be able to get rid of the other equipment with enough care.
