Warmaster Scale Nagash Proxy ideas?
« on: August 21, 2014, 12:54:55 PM »
Does anyone have any ideas for a figure that could be used as the basis for making a Nagash figure for Warmaster?

I would envisage it fitting on a 25mm round base and being about 20mm high?

In 20mm you might need to build your own Dave.

I tried googling 20mm clown, but none quite fit...

You'd probably be best off making your own, if you can find a 20mm skeleton as a base.

given how *huge* the new model is, I think you'd easily get away with using a 28mm skeleton as a basis

I think this guy would be perfect. Admittedly he's more warrior than high mage but the screaming skull motif and tattered cape are great.

*Shrugs*

Would be £7 on Wayland Games, less if you were patient on eBay.

Nice figure if a little crazily priced (nothing new there Games Workshop!). Thanks for the ideas guys!

I would go 15mm.

28mm in Warmaster scale looks wrong. Forget what GW do with Warhammer. I think an imposing 15mm lord could work well.

I really would love to buy some Warmaster Kislev, Araby, Bretonnia, Vampire Counts, Chaos demons ...

If you do want to go larger, then this 25mm looks the part..

or

Another choice is the demonic entity far left, from this 20mm range:

or

Cheap enough and somewhat smaller than GW minis and faces can easily be altered to something more skeleton-like..

Wow! I'd love that mini to use as a Tomb King general, maybe.

Yeah it is - it's even got the "Look ma - I'm floatin'!" thing going on...
