Appropriate Kislev Buildings and Wood Forts

Hey guys, just wanted to pick your brains about how you think Kislev buildings should look.

I thought that even quite primitive Saxon buildings like these would work for villages:

The Warmaster Magazine had a very nice wood log fort on the front page but I can't quite find anything like that around - I guess it was scratch built.

I'm looking at them for wuiet a long time now (considering i'm a fan of nice sceneries).

Do you think the village with enclosure set is worth the price ? It seem expensive to me.

I didn't get the enclosures, I found some n-scale fences that worked just fine I thought.

Yes, N scale is great for civilians, domestic animals etc. I have some cows, dears and various goats and pigs that suits WM very well.

Bit of thread necromancy here - I have been eyeing churches like this as a focal point for a Kislev town/city.  Still not sure if the dark ages looking stuff is too primitive.  When I look for wooden houses in 10mm they look far too modern usually though.

I like these ramparts (timber/earth rampart fortification) for Kislev. Maybe with a more modern city inside or a mix of new and old!?

I truly adore the Kislev castle in Warmaster magazine and would love to try to duplicate it..

Apparently there's a Kislev WarhammerFRP supplement called "Realm of the Ice Queen".

I guess a large town / city in Kislev would look more like the kind of Germanic Empire half timber anyway in terms of architecture?

I think the Total Battle ones would be fine as stand ins for Kislev outpost houses.

And yes, Draccan, I had my eye on those as well but thought they might be a little large based on Kallistra's usual scale.

For Austrian 'chocolate box' beautiful half timbered architecture (think 'Frozen') I recommend Timecast's 10mm Leipzig inspired Napoleonic German range. I use them for both naps and for an Empire town in Warmaster.
