I really like the red colour for painted bows, there, makes a change from wood!

And horsey horses to go with the foot grunts.

The mini dragons are non-GW models but I don't remember where I bought them. Sorry.

My week is pretty loaded but I will try to get some more HE ready next weekend.

Great stuff. Did you have to fill in the transfers with white paint? Or are they opaque enough by themselves?

The transfers are plenty opaque. The shields are just Mechrite Red->Blood Red->Gloss Varnish->Decal->Gloss Varnish->Mat Varnish

And some characters. Almost done.

I will be doing some SAGA units next for variety. I have been cleaning up sprues in between the High Elves. I think I might have gotten carried away a bit though... I didn't really know what I wanted and historical models are so cheap - compared to Games Workshop - that I just ordered one box of every plastic kit available at my favourite online retailer (Gripping Beast Viking Hirdmen/Saxon Thegns/Dark Age Warriors; Wargames Factory Saxon Fyrd/Saxon Thegns/Viking Bondi/Viking Huscarls; Norman Conquest Cavalry/Infantry; and some Ancient Germans and Celts from Wargames Factory for good measures). It's only when I arrived that I realised that pretty much all Dark Age worriers look essentially identical... So now I have something like 500 models lying around for a skirmish game that is supposed to need ~40 models. Lots of sprue-scrapping :)
