6mm or 10mm buildings/ruins with a LOTR flavour?
« on: November 14, 2013, 09:24:35 PM »
I've been scouring various terrain websites looking to see anything that has a LOTR flavour for the ruins of the lands of Men and Dwarves.

Medieval huts and houses work for villages but I was really hoping to find something I could use for areas large and small like the BOFA plastic sprue - with a "Ruins of Osgiliath" theme:

I've found resin ruins for Epic after a lot of searching but nothing similar for fantasy / dark ages / middle ages.

One thought I had was to get little dungeon bits like this with lots of brickwork on them and smash them up a bit to create the effect of ruined villages / town squares.

Been thinking and looking up generic "Gothic" themes on Google and among 15mm and 6mm stuff:

This expensive Epic building I thought had some promise to be smashed up into single story ruins:

Another expensive offering but similar to the kind of low level arches I had in mind:

These looked interesting but it's a 1 man operation with no photos to speak of:
