They (he) switched to other manufacturers as the supply line was getting really thin as far as I know.

But Malika knows more about this.

Most of Vanguard Miniatures' stuff is cast traditionally, but lately they've also been experimenting with some Print on Demand stuff. This is mainly for bigger stuff such as terrain and vehicles.

It's about 70mm long.

AI?
This one would indeed be compatible with AI. I've also been asked to make an ordnance scale version of this one.

lovely stuff...

so just to get this clear in my head.

you do this in ai scale.
just as you did the javelin.

VG don't want the javelin in ordnance scale but they do want this in ordnance scale...
sigh... I give on on them...

at least they asked for this.
Still, as I'm an imbitterd old curmudgeon, I'd not be surprised if you go through all the legwork of doing it and it get rejected at the eleventh hour again...

good to see more chaotic designs of yours though. very sleek and dangerous and very faithful to the gw chaos asthetic...

I just hope the fleetscale ones are actually fleetscale and not like 14/15mm long or whatever the vanguard scale is... my nurgle fleet awaits...

I should perhaps elaborate on ordnance scale, Vanguard have decided to go more for ordnance markers rather than separate models. As you can see the Javelin and Spiculum have been redone in that marker style. The Tainted fighters will also be done as such.

I am tempted to team up with another party (don't know who yet) to design some different ordnance models more in the scale/style of the older ones I did. Perhaps someone who works on/for A Billion Suns or something. Should look around a bit.

That is pretty. Laskaris (Discord) did something that looks a bit similar with the standard ordnance from battlefleet gothic.

As you can see in the pic above we did a first test of the Tainted Interceptors, but their wings were way too fragile, resulting in some weird bending. So I basically had to redo them, which meant I could do that based on the Mk2 version of the Interceptor.

But yeah the '6mm' scale version of the Interceptor has been submitted for printing. Unlike the previous version it will include a few weapon variants and landing gears.  8)

New tank design released!

Renegade Regulars – Warrior II IFV

Quote
The Warrior II is a purpose designed Infantry Fighting Vehicle in common service with many of the great Novan houses, created to transport an infantry squad in relative safety to the front line and to fight alongside that squad when they are dismounted as an infantry armour team. There are several patterns in service and many different weapon systems have been fitted over the years, it is rugged and relatively fast for an armoured transport vehicle two features that have ensured its longevity, with the basic hull seeing development for many other military vehicles such as recon, command, heavy weapons carrier and artillery chassis to name but a few it is sure to remain in service for many years to come.

Set contains:

4 x Warrior II hulls

3 x Warrior II turret and bow MG sprues (fixed hatches)

1 x Warrior II turret and bow MG sprue (separate hatch)

1 x closed hatch

1 x open hatch

Notes:

Model dimensions: Length 27mm, Width 18mm, Height 13mm to top of turret.
Helmet trophy poles not included.

Vanguard's models are mostly 'true scale 6mm', most of them work good as 1/4th of 40k which is what Titanicus scale is. I've done some Mk2 versions for Vanguard's Novan/Renegade Elites Trojan tanks which make for good Titanicus/8mm/true scale 6mm Rhino proxies.

In the meantime, I've gotten distracted by a little side project...
