[WM] My growing collection
« on: August 20, 2013, 01:12:32 PM »
Despite GW withdrawing its support and not releasing any new models for a little while I have not stopped collecting WM miniatures. Until now I have two 2000 points armies; a High Elf and a Bretonnian Force and I am just begining to acquire the necessary parts to build an araby and undead army.

However I realised that despite the fact that my armies are mostly painted I never posted any pics online...

This has to change!

Here are my high elves:
(roughly 2000 points)

and my bretonnians : circa 700-800 points (the rest is still wip)

thank you for your comments guys! I hope I can do them justice

Which main colour are you going to use for them?

I am thinking to paint them using an off-white khaki for the trousers and sleeves and a dark green for the jacket. The bows, belts and quivers will be in bestial brown and the turbans in space wolves grey highlighted with white.

I should have a test - stand completed by today so  I can show to you ...

On a side note does anyone have any good reference pictures of araby (i.e. painted armies like sigur's on warseer) ?

I should also mention that my old opponent Athens_Fantasy will be starting work on his Dark Elves as soon as he goes back to London so hopefully we shall see some of his work as well :)

3 years have passed but I remain active and continue to paint!

Unfortunately getting a game of warmaster is practically impossible where I live but I have always enjoyed collecting and painting.

I am currently trying to finish my bretonnians (3 units of peasants, 2 units of men-at-arms and 2 units of bowmen plus 2 grail knights and 3 knights) and also to start work on my Araby and Lizardmen.

Let me show you some recent WIP

And the start of my Lizardmen collection
