Yes the old glory knights are separate. That's exactly what I've done I've got three of them now although I haven't photoed them yet. They make a nice regiment. Yes they are too big for Demi-gryphs and I sort of wish I'd gone with the Splintered light 15mm ones.
Other thing to mention is the hands are closed and need to be drilled to take a wire lance.

For Demi-gryphs, how about these from Magister Militum?

https://www.magistermilitum.com/scale/10mm/fmc202-hippogriffs-x6.html

They are certainly the right size, relative to a cavalry model. Just need their wings removed (clippers and a big mess with my Dremel I think)

They're certainly size up better. Think the wings are behind folded back like that are too attached to the body though. Found these though https://www.magistermilitum.com/fks202-spire-guard-hippogriff-riders-x6.html I think the wings and rider may be easier to cut off.

Well spotted.
As for which wings come off more easily, I guess it depends whether the rider is separate or not.

I feel a very messy 20 mins or so with my Dremel drill coming on...  +/- a saddle / quilt over the back of the model made from wine-bottle lead foil...

I think all of Magister militums 10mm stuff has attached rider. I just think maybe chopping them off at the waste might work

Hello

It may be worthwhile asking MM about them, the additional information on both seem to suggest that there are separate parts for both, the Hippogriffs show 12 figures for 6 Hippogriffs and the Hippogriff Riders show 30 figures for 6 Riders (actually from a casting point of view they seem likely to have separate wings at least).

Cheers

I’ve emailed them. I’ll let you know what they say.
In the mean time my Gryph-hounds are nearly done so thought I’d post a pic

I’ve decided the gryph-hounds are too big for demigryphs so I’ve given them wings and now use them as full blown gryphons

I agree, they are correctly sized for gryffins.

You should propose them in the modellisme section too, they deserve it :)
