I am familiar with his work. He has sent me a cruiser as a gift. I'm very impressed with the level of detail, but some aspects of his designs seem off, scale wise at least.

I've never really stopped, it's just that I'm often not allowed to show anything. But yeah, every once in a while I like being rebellious!  8)

Just to give you a more complete picture, I've currently submitted 6 Tainted escort sized ships, 3 Cybershadows escorts, a Cybershadows Light Cruiser, a modular transport ship kit, 2 semi-civilian ships, and 2 random escorts. Note that none of these have been released yet.

Besides that I'm working on a Light Cruiser for the Tainted, a whole bunch of extra ships for the Novan Elites (a Light Cruiser sized one to match the rest of their range, a crude Novan Light Cruiser, and a whole bunch that are a different 'pattern'), and as you can see in the picture above...a Zeus pattern Grand Cruiser.

So there is still a whole lot happening, besides the usual 3mm and 6mm stuff I have to design for Vanguard Miniatures.  8)

Novan Elites – Lynx Pattern Assault Destroyer

Quote
A common variant of the Lynx destroyer the “assault” pattern hull sacrifices its torpedo launchers and broadsides capabilities in order to house a ship busting plasma accelerator cannon, turning the ship into a dedicated attack vessel.

Set contains:
1 x Lynx assault hull
1 x destroyer parts sprue

Notes:

1. Resin cast model
2. Model approximate length 45mms including prow mounted plasma accelerator

Novan Elites – Lynx Pattern Destroyers

Quote
Lynx class Destroyers are small and fast craft that are capable of quickly delivering their deadly cargo. For its size the Lynx is heavily armed, making it a jack of all trades. Its basic armament includes two dorsal mounted twin turrets to take out incoming ordnance, and two pairs of prow torpedo tubes. Its broadsides allow for different types of weapon systems which can be changed whilst in dock due to its modular design. Most common broadside configurations are either weapon batteries or launch bays for a small compliment of fighters.

Its diverse armament is also its main disadvantage. A lot of space normally used for supplies such as fuel, ammunition, foodstuffs, and oxygen is sacrificed for the Lynx’s many weapon systems. What this means is that the Lynx needs constant resupplying, making it incapable of long independent missions away from sources of supply. Because of this the Lynx is often deployed on short duration missions only, when not operating as part of a larger battle flotilla.

This set contains:

2 x Lynx Destroyer hulls (1 x batteries, 1 x launch bays)
2 x optional wings sets and twin turrets

Notes:
1.Resin cast models
2. Model length approx. 38mm
3. Flight base not included

New ships inbound!

Novan Merchant Fleet – Merchant Escorts

Quote
The merchant fleets of the Novan great houses do not rely upon their respective navies to protect the great trade convoys that ply the space lanes of the Commonwealth. Instead they have integral military grade escorts of varying sizes and capabilities that are ready to engage any hostile threat to the convoy and its valuable cargo.

The two ships in this set provide a fighter squadron carrier and a gun ship, they provide an integral fighter screen and defensive firepower for the fleet.

This set contains:

1 x fighter squadron carrier
1 x gun ship
3 x prow variants (prows are compatible with the prows on the merchant logistics carrier)

Notes:

1. Resin cast models
2. Models approximate lengths, carrier 51mms, gun ship 48mms
https://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/shop/novan-merchant-fleet-merchant-escorts/

Novan Merchant Fleet – Logistic Carrier

Quote
Merchant fleet logistic cargo carrier.

This model can be built as a light carrier by omitting one central hull section.

Set contains:

1 x logistics carrier hull sprue
2 x each of the five cargo pod variants
2 x prow variants (note these are compatible with the prows from the merchant escorts set)
Optional wings.

Notes:

1. Resin cast model.
2. Model length approximately 72mms
https://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/shop/novan-merchant-fleet-logistics-carrier/

Renegade Fleet – Frigates

Quote
Renegade frigates.

This set contains:

2 x frigate hull variants
4 x prow variants (all usable on both hulls)

Notes:

1. Resin cast models
2. Models approximately lengths, 40mms to 46mms dependent of which prows are fitted

blinding, thoough its a shame I'm in no state to buy anything else at present.
Ebay has gone to shit so its not like I can even sell stuff to fund new stuff...

my mind is brimming with conversions of the chaos smalls for my astartes and chaos fleets and the merchant ships are catching Jago's eye for reinforcements to yellow-line's truckking fleet...

ho-hum. hopefully they will remain in the vanguard shop for some years to come...
hopefully I can get another job before then...

I really do hope that Vanguard will keep them in stock, it took them long enough to see some of these in production!

Regarding that, I've spoken to John from Vanguard and he might have a solution for that predicament. Can you PM me your email address or FB profile?

I think they were just some left overs that John put back in the store.

But erm, PM me your contact info! John is looking for a painted/modeller for the new ship releases ;)
