Some bad news... :(

The casts came in for the Novan Elites Felis class Stealth Ship. Somehow I've managed to overlook the fact that I've forgotten to add a port wing to the sprue. So the port wings have now been sent for printing and casting. Sadly enough it does mean the release of the Stealth Ship is delayed by several weeks. :(

Don't suppose there's any chance those port/starboard wings will be available by themselves?

New ones have been made and have been sent for printing. Expect a release delay of a couple of weeks.

“But you’ve got no port wing! We can’t fight you!”
“It’s just a flesh wound! I’ll bite your kneecaps off!”

Another interesting anecdote to be added to the history of tiny spaceships. Pretty exciting to see all of these ones coming to fruition, too!

I do still like the B-cruiser; it’s a refreshingly different shape to the usual ones.

I have received a few advanced sets of port wings for the little stealth ship, so I will be able to release that model very soon now. More wings have already been cast and will be with me ASAP. The ship should be up in store by weeks end in limited numbers.

As an aside would there be any interest in a short limited campaign to get the other Elites vessels produced, currently we have an upgrade set for the Panthera, another frigate, 3 destroyers, little civilian system ships and re-worked Elites fighter ordinance pieces, all would be in metal.

Thoughts please.

Just throwing this here...

Novan Elites Felis Class Stealth Ship x 4 - £5.00

Quote
Felis Class stealth ships are used by Novan Elite forces for special missions and deep recon operations and carry special ordinance amongst their arsenal. A small reasonably well armoured vessel the Felis relies heavily on its stealth technology to evade detection. A black ops ship more than a front line combat vessel it nevertheless has proven its worth in many campaigns the length and breadth of Commonwealth space.

Set contains:

4 x Felis stealth ship hulls
4 x optional wings sets

Model length: 31mm

Well you know I'm in as far as these are concerned but I have to say that 'short limited campaign' seems a little leading. Are you saying they'd only be available for a short time? Or that the drive to get them done would be short and limited? Just curious as I'm very interested in the updated panthera as a base for strike cruisers in an Astartes fleet and would probably buy some other vessels such as the individual above to fill the role as escorts etc... however I'd probably buy them all in one shot so have been holding off till I know what to expect. (Funds are quite limited at present)

What John probably meant with a 'short limited campaign' was that these would be financed by a smaller crowdfunder than the usual ones that Vanguard Miniatures and Troublemaker Games did. So probably only to reach the goal of funding these models, no tons of stretch goals. After that Vanguard Miniatures can always have more cast afterwards, but wouldn't cause big delays and overwork in just getting the stuff financed.

Oo, very nice! It’s cool seeing the dreams of a range of models coming to fruition.
