(depending on what prow you give them they are about 50mm long)

no offence here, but I only just noticed: 50mm for a system ship? thats actually huge! thats the +/- the size of an imperial transport escort. system ships are typically more in the range of between 5-15mm

System ship is perhaps a wrong name here. John from Vanguard Miniatures has designated them as System Ships, but they are more akin to escorts. I guess that in the background of the Vanguard Miniatures setting System Ships are probably just ships that mainly remain in a planet's orbit and could be various sizes?

Sorry for the confusion!

oh just ignore me. I'm just super pedantic/ocd with these things. like it makes a difference anyhow? the ships are amazing whatever they're called!   ;) just a small question, will the panthera conversion kit be available separately or as part of a panthera kit? or both? only interested as I don't own any pantheras yet but most likely will grab a pack with said conversion kit whenever it gets released on vanguard.  just figured it might be of interest to those who already own pantheras and are considering altering them...

I think the future Pantheras will be sold with the extra sprue. Not sure yet if those sprues will also be sold separate for those who've already bought the model.

I can't wait for all the other escorts to be out as well (three types of Destroyers, another Frigate, a tiny Stealth Ship, not to mention all those 'civilian' ships).

After a bit of a delay I have finally sent the little Felis stealth ship off to the casters, ETA in store would be end of the month with luck.

A new little ship is in the works!

We've been working on something a little bit different, basically experimenting with other shapes for ships whilst maintaining the familiar aesthetic.

This little craft is used by various security forces, pirates, and what not.

The model's current dimensions are 13mm wide, 15mm long, 20mm tall.

We're curious to hear your thoughts about this one.

Thanks in advance! :)

That makes me think admech to be honest. It's very interesting and quite a removal from the games workshop style of ship design, yet the features it has in common with the pantheras are clear to see it's of the same design origins. Very nicely done... To create something that different looking yet still maintaining a design ethos is hard to do but you've nailed it! Btw eagerly awaiting the stealth ship and pantheras upgrade over on vanguard... Should we expect before the holidays? :D

The Adeptus Mechanicus vibe probably comes from the red colour. But the colours were more inspired by the 'Fero Ascendancy', one of the factions of Vanguard Miniatures own Defeat in Detail setting:

As for the release schedule, John has mentioned that some of the new ship stuff might be out by the end of the month. Let's see how that'll go... :)

you'd think so but with bfg I always think of black and burgandy for admech. i think its just the more modern aspects of the design that feel more techy somehow...

Looks like a mashup of a B-Wing and a B/SF bomber.
