I just noticed these new prints are metal! (serves me right for looking at them on a smartphone without glasses on!) does this mean they'll be in vanguard's catalogue soon?.

also what ever (if anything) happened about vanguard doing the station you designed. there were casting issues last I asked I believe?

Expect the ordnance to be out soon, can't give you a clear ETA yet...all depends on Vanguard.

As for the station, I haven't been able to find the time and energy to cut up the model for easier casting. Will try to do that once I have a bit more time and motivation.

In the meantime, the Novan Elites will be getting a new Frigate 'soon' (depends on when they'll be printed and cast of course)...

Yay! Got mine! Despite vanguard having wiped my email and password details... Had to log in as guest to get em but meh. I got em and that's the important part. What I don't understand is why they are with the bgh kits and not your other gothic ship bits...

John wants all the ship stuff to be part of BGH. But it seems that hasn't fully been implemented yet.

Fair enough. It certainly makes sense from that perspective. I Got the bitz today. Oh boy am I happy with them... Such a great match with gw stuff but such cleaner detail and form. Lovely! Only minor niggle was that I found the torpedoes a bit of a cowson to get off the sprue without a fair bit of filing required after but hard work is all part of the game! I reckon I'll be back for more for sure!

Yeah, the torpedo sprues are indeed quite annoying. Due to a flawed experiment with thinner sprues which totally failed, forcing VGM to do them like this. :(

Well, they're still the best torpedo models I've ever seen for bfg. So if a bit of filing is the only issue I can't see that being a real problem... Its just so nice to have some great ordnance models that are for one, metal and second, highly detailed and most of all, don't cost the earth! I just can't say enough good things about these models!

Note that these are only the 'civilian' ships. 8 types of system ships, a Defence Monitor, an Escort carrier, 3 modular transports (single kit), a blockade runner, and a light cruiser sized freighter. So 15 ships in total (for now). The blockade runner and freighter are still very much WIPs.

The Novan Elites currently have 3 types of Destroyers, 4 types of Frigates (two kits), a small stealth ship, with a light cruiser sized Assault Cruiser still in progress. 8 ships in total ready, with the Assault Cruiser (3 types of weapons configurations) slowly in progress.

Been working on some smaller mercantile ships that will most likely be released on a single sprue. Each craft is about 20mm long.

Curious to hear your feedback before shipping this one off for production.

(Novan Elites Panthera Heavy Frigate added for scale)
