I'd go for the right one personally but, seriously, how big is this model going to be? I can't see people making that much of a deal with how many missiles it's carrying :)

The model is about 12mm long, so it's not that big a deal. However, I want to get 'details' such as the weapons right in case I decide to make a 6mm version of this craft. Kinda a lesson I've learnt from when I designed the fighter and then worked on the 6mm version of it and realised its weapons layout didn't match anymore.

A little bit of OCD I guess?  :P

I'd say the left one, those bombers try to hurt ships that are like 30 times their own size.. they would need the seriously oversized missiles!

I've continued working on the bombers:

And on a little side note, this is what the bomber would be like in 6mm scale:

The bombers and torpedo bombers are as good as ready. Let me know if anything needs changing before I ship them off.

No complaints from me mate. Are these going to be metal as well?

they are gorgeous! love the 'doubled' missile pods. much better now. kinda reminiscent of the dropship from aliens with those... only kinda...very much looking forward to these and the other ordnance. great stuff

also just wanted to ask, is the fighter intended as a proxy for a xiphon fighter? if not it certainly would work as such!

The Javelin Fighter could indeed by used as a proxy for the Xiphon. Only the armament I've made for it in the space ship scale doesn't fully match the armament of its 6mm counterpart, but that doesn't matter that much I guess.

Why those red and green sections ? Do you cast them and then send the models, or do you let the producer print them ?

It's just a render, the prints/casts will be unpainted of course. ;)

Just discovered this thread - really great work.

Where are all these amazing creations available? I see the Shapeways link in your sig, but it doesn't look like even half of it is there...
