Thanks a lot you guys! The stations will need some more work. They are as good as done, but due to a glitch in SketchUp I haven't been able to convert the model to a stl file (the format used for 3d printing) without it removing big chunks of the model for no reason. So I'll need to find a way to work around that.

By the way, what do you guys think of the ships. Could they be possible Imperial Navy or Adeptus Astartes proxies?

Also, started working on some boarding pods...

I like them. I think the claw pods are a classic Chaos thing, but they could fit any loyalist fleet just as well.

Test print came in, apologies for the horrible quality of the photos. Keep in mind that since this print was ordered the design has been updated slightly (see previous posts).

Looking good!

I feel your pain on trying to take photos of the translucent material! xD

I generaly like guns but i would say no guns here. Shape is greater without them.

I've ended up sticking with the gun. Without them the craft ended up looking a bit too much like the Viper from Battlestar Galactica. Also to keep with the aesthetic of the universe these fighters will most likely be used it, big guns tend to be a must. Beyond that, Vanguard Miniatures have expressed their preference for the guns, and since they'll be doing production/distribution...

However, since the guns are rather small, I don't think it would be that hard to cut/file them off. :)

Here's a pic of the sprue by the way:
