i'm trying, but my friend playing chaos hasn't had time yet since he is still stuck in his final exams...

and i just couldn't come up with a fluffy excuse why i would be going up against my friends IN, being an IN player myself....  ;D
Nova Cannons are for these sissies who as a kid too preferred to throw stones at the others from a safe distance rather than closing in and get into a real fight ;D

Political differences?

well....

i guess if i can motivate myself to do the extra work of inventing some more characters and some little extra fluff, that might work....  ;D

oh hey.
i got marines too....

olay, afterimagedan, tell me a planet of the draco sector with an unstable government, that one will rebel (represented by my IN buddy) and this will lead to the appearance of my space marines in the sector (yeay, that makes explaining them a whole lot easier  :D )

Sector civil war. System successionists. Powerfull RT family. Recent converts to chaos.

Your pick!

It is annoying not having my stuff. I want to contribute, but all my stuff is still in my House Hold goods shipment.

I'll add to that, much like the book "Relentless," a couple of navy commanders decide there's more profit to be had "tithing" the trade routes rather than escorting convoys, and in a sector in upheaval, a coordinated group of renegade naval commanders could easily carve out their own small stellar empire without necessarily being slaves to the Dark Gods.

Vassal is a great resource if you have a few people that can get together on there, i hate it but since i discovered it almost all of my games are on there. This is the problem with living so far from any active game stores :/.

I was supposed to do a game two weeks ago, but I flew across the continent to support my local football (soccer) club. My next big scheduled game is July 11. Chaos vs. Demiurg w/(yet to be decided) allies.

As has been stated previously by someone else, I'm sitting on 2 battle reports that have yet to be submitted...
