BFG Charity Auction
« on: May 31, 2013, 03:30:02 AM »
Hi all of you,

I received the following email from MangoZac:

-------------

A member of the Aussie wargaming community had an unfortunate accident in early 2012. You can read about his story here: http://www.wargamerau.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=81256&st=60&p=2220242&#entry2220242

In order to help raise funds for his family I have put together a custom BFG fleet of converted ships and my own resin models. I will be listing it on ebay tomorrow for auction. Since you're such a prominent member of the BFG community I was hoping you would be able to help out by advertising the auction on a bunch of forums where most BFG players frequent. It's a very special, one-off fleet so I hope it will go for a good price!

Awesome, but I don't think I will be able to afford the final price.

I wish there was a way to do raffles. I think more people would've contributed as well.

I might put this up on my blog tomorrow though, to give it some coverage outside of just the forums.

Me too, but will give it a go and then chuck some money at the donation page anyway...
