Man you really have no idea how much i love grandfather nurgle... This fleet is so awesome, i would love to own something similar to this as i get more and more involved into BFG. I hope to play against you this sunday and at least destroy one of your capital ships.

Defiantly a wow factor, I’m more than impressed.  I’d consider trying to steal dem from ya (what else would you expect from a "Sneaky Git") except I’m sure when I got home and checked out my wonderful loot it would just end up being a box of flies!

Will do this one a bit differently and paint it in full Death Guard colors before adding any Nurglization and the  Nurglization will be much lighter than on the other ships representing a ship in the early stages of the process.

This is also the beginning (along with the two already done strike cruisers) of a Space Marine fleet.

Hmm, if the mutations and such are meant to be more subtle, how about trying to paint this one more in heresy-era colours?

By the way, this might be food for thought: the Terminus Est when it was still loyalist.

I see two options:
A. Off white with green trim like early Death Guard armor. Some of the Death Guard ships in Collected Visions are painted this way.
B. Unpainted metal as described in some of the novels.

Unpainted metal seems like it could be pretty boring, so I'm thinking that its going to be off white with green trim.

Note that power armour contains a layer of ceramite, which makes it kinda white/grey, which might be a pretty cool thing to try for the Death Guard ships. Also keep in mind that the ships don't always have the exact same colours as the power armour, look at the contemporary Ultramarines: their armour is blue, but their ships seem to be white.

Got a bit more paint on the barge. Not sure about the color.

And a couple of fleet pics at the convention this past weekend:
