That's a license to print money. Time to start experimenting with paints in my airbrush to come up with the correct opalescence for the covenant ;D
I'm expecting some version of FA rules for the game but porting to BFG equivalent rules wouldn't be hard (I'd prefer that as opposed to a counts-as situation)

As we Imperials say, "The Emperor [class battleship] Protects..."

Hoping to show the Covenant fleet the Emperor's Justice, Brother?

Has anyone heard of SkyRelics?

Add some details and turrets and you've got some pretty nice Ork ships I think...

Shame it wasn't a NSL vs Islamic Federation starter box. Then we could have a Marines vs Necrons proxy box. Does Mechworld sell it on their site?

Bah. Scale/size is irrelevant...this will probably be one of the cheapest ways to get fleets for many races all at once, if you're so inclined.

It is? That opens the proxy realm up for me if so.

Yeah. For the game only stem & base matter. The model itself has no value in the game except for visuals.

But  I rather see proxies within the scale of what I already have. :)

That really only leave FSA models and Shapeways then. The reason I was curious is that I was idly considering a Necron fleet using the Cylon ships from Ravenstar.
