Well, they're about on par with ebay. Expensive in general when I can find cheaper.
Personally I wish Grim Dark Bits had a larger selection of ships.

Edit: I can't figure out what race these ships would best represent in the 40K universe, but they are begging to be used IMO.
Those Homeworld ships aren't too bad, bit of a shame they aren't more detailed.
I'm considering ordering one of the fleet deals. Just cause. Either that or ships from Armand if he ever releases a Strike Cruiser and/or Battle Barge.

Armand's stuff is pretty awesome! You should get those. I think the Homeworld ships would need a lot of work in order to truly do them justice.

See, now those Strike Cruisers I could get behind. They're about on par with retail price at the end of the SG availability, and come with all the fixin's. Everybody should play more space marines! :P

Indeed. The only real dilemma I have left for my BFG fleet project is Armand's Grand Barge or Grim Dark Bits Heresy Barge.

The size and shape is about right for a Demiurg cruiser, maybe a bit on the small side :/.

Nothing a bit of conversion work couldn't fix, right?

I always thought they looked better skinny side forward anyway but I don't think there would be much work to spin these around. They already have the basic ascetic and thats half the battle right there.

Looks like straight copies of BFG ships...
Quite crucial to be able to tell minefields and rally points apart...

Has anyone ever ordered stuff from Shapeways? Some of the links posted here have looked appealing but I've never ordered from them before and thus a little leery.
