I like the current Vanguard ship line and intended to pick some up. I definitely welcome some cruiser hulls appearing. Are they perchance redoing the counts as lance armed escort too? That would be really good.
The cruiser looks promising - are those interchangeable weapon options? Definitely a good idea. The hull itself though seems a bit underwhelming. The engine and bridge area could benefit from being bulked out more - it's a cruiser after all. Perhaps a larger bridge and some fins at the ends of the wings? And perhaps a fin? This would help make the cruiser look more like a CAPITAL ship than an elongated escort.
ALSO - I would love to see more than one cruiser type, even if it's just a biggerised Venusian support ship with a few more turrets.
