Beautiful minis, particularly HALO imo. Was this at Salute?
Yes. FTR: Dropfleet is being developed by Andy Chambers.

I like the ships that have been revealed from the Dropfleet game so far. I can't wait to see what the other fleets look like. I'm curious what scale the ships are in though. Mainly curious if it will be similar to BFG in size.

Those drop ship turrets seem I practically and disproportionately large

Depends on the scale. I mean, the models themselves are comparable to BFG size, but the scale of the ship seems to be a lot smaller, like I'd maybe rate the battleship as being maybe Star Wars scale or less (e.g. .6-1.2km for ship length). That'd make the turrets more reasonable, especially if they were a sort of linear acceleration guns, which they appear to be. If nothing else, you can always cut them short!

Don't think I've seen this posted yet (if duplicated, mea culpa)

They've only got the Hiigaran fleet yet but are working on Vaygr as well. Only comes in fleet sets however and looks like to make them pop you should be fairly experienced with tape masking

I actually tried to make an order two weeks ago for a Sword Strike Cruiser. I emailed him earlier this week to ask on the progress.... and got a full refund saying that he was currently not trading.  >:(

These links might be of interest to you: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/omnijackal (HW2 ships in general)
http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/f-a-t-c/spaceships.html (this site still has some of FATC's ships in stock)

General question for the crowd, has anyone used Brigade Models ships before? Looking at using the Neo-Soviet spaceship fleet as an Ad Mech fleet and was curious about the quality. Here's an example pic:

I picked up a few of the AdMech-looking (“Venusian”) escort-sized ships from Abomination.
http://www.freewebstore.org/Abomination/Spacecraft/cat1322682_1476069.aspx

The transport and oiler are very crisply cast.  They’re really, really good.

The gunships I received are a little rougher; the mold has probably been used a lot more.  The front face of the prow, under the lance, appears to have lost a lot of its intended detail.  Elsewhere, the detail is a little soft compared to the other two ships.  Not bad – there are GW and FW ships that are worse.  I’d be very happy with them if the other two ships weren’t so nice!

I think I'll use the transports as WB-armed escorts despite the lack of obvious weaponry.
