The answer is yes, he is modelizing a second escort sized Voidrunner. He also told me cruiser sized models would come later.

About defence stations previous pics were alpha sculpts, he told me the shapeways cast was too fragile, he modified batteries look and torpedoes here are the pics of his 2nd versions

i do confirm everything Heavygear said :)

A shop should open on Shapeways in november.
With the Defences for sure, and maybe some Legionary....

And Malika, my first try was the bridge on the motor on this WIP cruiser :

Have you considered casting the stuff? Printing can get quite pricey.

Next project is going on well. I will try some beta-print very soon.
About casting, si far i am jsut thinking about 3D print. And like you said, price can raise quickly...it's why i am thinking i will try to push the model as far as possible in term of detail. I want the ships to worth their price.
