never mind I just saw the NLA sign at the bottom for each entry dam it GW, keep putting the lotion on it's skin, and it will permanently keep drowning itself with the hose!

Forgeworld is stopping production on all SG products also according to Tac com and epic addiction. http://epicaddiction.wordpress.com/2013/04/30/fw-specialist-games-going-too/

I don't make the rules, I just think them up and write them down.

I'm guessing this will probably also extend to the plastics as well won't it, like the IN and Chaos cruisers and all the epic infantry sprues.

does anyone happen to have one Tau protector unassembled and one Tau Manta from FW? I'm trying to get my hands one of each for... preservation purposes.

This is really disheartening news.

Wow, and FW everything went out of stock very, very quickly.  Ramilies etc are now all out of stock as ebay speculation runs wild.

It's actually not just the Specialist Games.  It's now officially ANYTHING that is still metal is now dead, or at least the 40k and WFB lines, probably LotR SBG as well.

Yeah but those will get the crapcast or plastic treatment or be replaced with new stuff. Specialist Games will just be gone.

i spoke to the manager at my local games workshop today

he says theres been no word about specialist games going out of production, but the meatal models could be out of production because the molds for them have reached the end of they're life and cost too much to be worth replacing

I also found out that games workshop makes more selling white paint than all the specialist games put together

all the same i put in a panic order of battlefleet gothic stuff as i've only just started playing the game

also does anyone else find the question you have to awsner annoying?
"What is the abbrieviation for three six sided dice?" that would be 3 D6......apparently not according to this thing
theres no such thing as over kill, its just making sure

Not entirely truthful that statement. Yes some of the molds are EOL and I can't fault them to not replace them. Fair enough with a simple concept of ROI. However in no way in hell did every mold die at the same time. In addition, the molds for Aeronatutica Imperialis are quite new and fresh still yet they're getting pulled once stock is gone. Spin it anyway they want but this is a culling, pure and simple. White metal is getting pulled from the catalog and therefore SG which are not a significant enough income source are just getting cut, period.
