While a lot of common ships are going to continue to go around Ebay for a while, personally not being able to get the Solaris and Aurora light cruisers from FW has caused the SO and I to consider if we're going to keep picking up BFG ships or not.

Annoyingly I was going to pick them up a few weeks ago, but as I couldn't make it to Salute, decided to wait until later for them. Arse.

does suck for those who have yet to build fleets, my plans were always to scratch build all of the fleets apart from imperial, eldar, chaos and marines. i own most of that but not one eldar ship as yet so they will have to go onto the scratchbuild list as well.
anybody else expecting ebay prices to shoot through the roof?

All three admech ships came with just the CL having a minor miscast on one of the small admech symbols. everything else is in perfect order. I think they must have improved considerably on the casting of the CL since Horizon got one. I even got all of the bridge pieces for the adMech battleship ;)
Ya, that CL was dreadfull. Still is...
But I got the complete bridge as well. :)

Hey now, I like that cruiser, a lot actually...  :P

The Repulsive Grand Cruiser is still available on the Aus GW site. If you guys don't mind paying a premium, as well as have some capability to get it actually shipped to wherever, now's a good time. :) AFAIK, nothing on the Aus GW site is NLA yet, except for one of the Eldar Cruisers. Not surprising.

I just ordered a craftworld eldar fleet from the GW Australia site. Yes it was about $50 NZ more than getting it from the UK and having it shipped through a friend, but i was able to get dragonships and if anything is miscast or there are problems in delivery, i can hassle GW myself.

If there are things on the Aus/NZ site that are unavailable in the rest of the world, i would be happy to order them and have them sent to you at cost. It won't be cheap though. We all know how ridiculous prices are down here.

well they've started taking stuff off the site now
although some things have stayed up despite being first to sell out (rouge trader crusier for example)

could either be a sign that some products will continue on a small scale, or half arsed web site maintinance

on the birght side my panic buying has resulted in me completing my fleet far quicker than i thought i would

same here.
although its still a shame the stuff will probably never come back, and pretty outrageous how GW deals with this entire thing...   >:(
Nova Cannons are for these sissies who as a kid too preferred to throw stones at the others from a safe distance rather than closing in and get into a real fight ;D

i've got some hope that they may re-do somethings in plastic

me and the manger at shrewsbury agree that most of the ships could easily have been turned into a single box set (imperial battleships for example)

I'm finding how hushed up games workshop has been keeping this to be the worst part of it......its like they don't want to draw attention to it in case there's a surge of interest, even their staff know nothing about it

Ooh that's really bad, GW's prices are IMHO only justified by having excellent customer service when products are bad or undelivered.

i'd have thought that if the orders placed for an item outnumbered its stock, that they would've made some more so as to fill all the orders

so not re-stock it, just make a few more for those people that have ordered the item, especially if it was in stock at the time of ordering

i'm really pissed off now and wondering whether or not i'll get the rest of my order
