I asked Allen, the guy who owns Gamecraft Miniatures in the US, if he could rescale 15mm scale MDF Town and Village Series down to 10mm scale and he has just done so.
He sent me a link as they are now up on his website for sale.
http://store.gcmshop.com/c/180/mdf-town-and-village-seriesCurrently, there are 7 different buildings all laser cut in MDF. They are designed so that they are extremely easy to put together and paint.
1) Glue the four walls together and spray paint it whatever colour you want (no need to fill gaps as the external framing covers all joins),
2) Spray paint the external framing whatever colour you want and glue it to the walls,
3) Then glue the full colour supplied roof shingles to the top (there's a choice of four different roof tiling).
I can really see some potential already here. You could make the roof a little cooler looking by creating more 3D-like shingles and sculpting a chimney stack. You could also combine the short walls of two of the small house kits to make a second level and place in on top of a lower stone level. You could buy several buildings of different shapes and sizes and place walls around them so they could act as Coaching Inns or large farmhouses or you could even make a small village at a cross roads or similar...you could easily add some cool wooden doors or window shutters.....so much potential for some nice 10mm scale buildings here.
The one in the pics below has had no paint what-so-ever applied, just glued together in a couple of minutes straight out of the pack;
