Alright, the voting is closed. What sort of point increase should this be for each of these? Smotherman has it at 4 points, which would make it a 5pt increase for each ship. Any thoughts?

Hellebore: 75 points currently (I think I would leave this)

Defender: 45 points currently (+5 points seems reasonable)

Grunt: 30 points in BFGR, 25cm speed 90* turns 6+/4+ (+5 points seems reasonable)

Kraken: 50 points, (already 2 hits in BFGR)

Corsair: 60 points, (already 2 hits in BFGR)

Rampart: 60 points in BFGR, (a lot of weapons and special rules, needs work imo)

Moniter: 60 points currently (I think I would leave this)

Orbital: all at 30 points currently (I think I would leave this)

Escort Carrier: 60 points currently (I think I would leave this)

Generally I agree with Andrew, particularly about the Hellebore, and the Defender. I could see Defender at 50 if it get the 4 str battery.

Well i pulled the price for the Hellebore off the 1.9mms doc, unless im missing something?

The orbitals are barely worth their costs, im not sure if adding a hit would really be worth any points on a fixed installation. CVEs are another thats barely worth it as is, adding the hit helps but really doesnt overcome the high cost compared to the craptastic leadership when reloading (4-7) which really should be addressed as well.

Rather than -1 for RO you could re-introduce running out of ordnance on doubles for Escort Carriers. Iirc the fluff says something about accidents being common so that would fit better.

Hellebore is a typo. Should be 75pts iirc... shall give definite answer soon.

These all seem fine, but 50pt defender should have the 4 battery 1 torp profile horizon suggested; gives the tau playerws an actual reason to consider the castellan, given the new changes to the defender. As is, the range increase and movement on the castellan do not seem very tempting versus the much more resilient defender.

As for CVE's, they really should just have normal leadership. It seems reasonable to assume that an escort with so many military ordnance would have learned to launch them effectively, especially over the length of the gothic war/armageddon war. They would hardly be overpowered, and that wolfpack fleet is looking interesting at this point.

If we changed the defenses leadership to the normal chart and got rid of the -1, would you add +5 to each of them?

I disagree with Talos, I believe the defender should stay at 2 torp, whether it get 4 wb or not. I think the range and the speed are enough to warrant the castellan if you're playing FW tau (also their is an interation if the fleet list that does not allow the defender to be taken with FW stuff freely).
