Thanks Stormwind.

The bases are edged, flocked and I stuck some grass tufts on there so this 2k-ish of Dwarves is done.

I plan to work on the 8mm Napoleonics next, but at somepoint I'll have to come back to finish: 3 Warriors, 1 Thunderers, 1 Rangers, 4 Troll Slayers, 1 Cannon, 2 Gyrocopters and a few more characters. Maybe later this year, we'll see how it goes.

holy-hell man, they are lovely!
Sorry not to have posted here before, but I had to say something at this fetching gathering of stunties!
theres just so much detail on these, your eyes must hurt some after a stint of painting these!
Ive seen well painted 28mm dwarves with less detail than this!
wonderful!

Amazing work. I postponed painting my dwarves as they are even shorter for 10mm than the other WM figs (I must need stronger glasses). Your just showing of of now talking about 8mm Naps  :D.

Good stuff and congrats on the great looking army. You must feel a real sense of satisfaction
cheers

Thanks guys. I hope to do a bit more soon. I find I always leave something unfinished before moving on to the next thing, maybe one day I'll actually "finish" an army.

Adam, I finished up a company of the 8mm French, there's pics on my blog: https://the-epic-gamer.blogspot.com/2021/04/viva-la-8mm-napoleonics.html

Dwarves look good in Blue for sure Dave! Those nap infantry look pretty good. Carabiniers are also very nice - such a pretty unit.

Hope the new roof is an improvement. I am post postponing most of my purchases for fixing things around the home too,  so I sympathise / empathise. I'd love to replace my roof tiles with new one and go solar but that is for a few years away.

take care in these crazy times
cheers

I finished up my Dwarf General and remaining Rune Priest characters for the Historicon tournament last weekend. The General is an unreleased figure that I converted to be holding a hammer instead of a stein. The banner/musician behind him on the right is unreleased as well.

One Rune Priest was a weapon swap while the other was unreleased. The banner here is unreleased as well. I need to track down the decals I did for these to truly finish them up. They're lost at the moment.

Really nice looking Dwarves. I'm trying NOT to print off a load of Warmaster stuff at the moment. I'm not sure whether I want to do Orcs n Goblins or Dwarves (first) but these lads look the business..

The General and rune priest are amazing Dave. You should be rather chuffed at the paint job. Love to know where you got the decals for the banner from. Hard enough painting 10mm scale let alone dwarves at 10mm scale.

My WM dwarves are still in their blisters biding their time. Just got to finish off my WM undead, chaos, High elves, skaven, kislev, Empire and dark elves first (Oh dear I think I may have a problem).

Thanks for posting and sharing. Much appreciated.
take care, stay safe.
