Thanks guys. If I'm ever in the southern hemisphere Dobbsy, I'll bring them.

Any thoughts on what the hats actually are from a historical standpoint?

Hi Dave, beautiful job.

The hats are some sort of renaissance headgear (do not know how to explain it in english). Durero work shows some of them

A mid-week update since September was so lacking. The Rangers are finished with the paint table. With any luck I should be able to get them sealed and based up by Friday for another picture.

In the end I went with coonskin caps...

fancy deep red renaissance hats...

and not umpire hats and straw boaters. :P

Probably won't be returning to this project for a few more months, but in the mean time... Dwarf Hammerers!

They'll be serving as Warriors (perhaps to denote a magic item) and or body guards of the thane.

Dave, if these turn out anywhere near as good as your rangers then they are going to be stunning!
Looking for Warmaster players for games around london and surrey.

Another quick Dwarf update. I finished and primed up my Anvil of Doom (+2) and two units of unreleased Iron Breakers!

Can I be a long lost relative and have all your Warmaster Armies bequethed to me?  Just let me know when you've made your will.

I'm just planning ahead in case you ever have an unfortunate, highly bizarre accident?  ;D :o ;D ??? ???

Could we perhaps add these to the Catalogue section that JChaos started?

How did you get Ironbreakers? I don't suppose they're a unit likely to find itself magically reproducing soon?
