let me guess: the corsair in the front is NOT the project.

Yes and yes  :) Here's some more pics of the scrachbuild. It literary waited years while i collected various parts than can be used. When i saw few craftworld models, including the one in planet killer magazine i always thought they all looked to much like a submarine while I always imagined the craftworld to be like in John Blanches ilustration. More like a scrambled mess of shapes and structures. That makes it look more "alien" and not made by puny humans :)  So i tried to follow this theme also a list of "Eldar terrain tips"  by ironhands.com was very help full. I hope to finish just to enter Gothiccomp 2012 but it depends on few thing . I got to have instant mould  to duplicate some tiny cities for the details. If not there's always next year  ;). Oh, the craftworld suppose to be Iyanden, like my craftworld fleet, because I always wanted to re-create the battle with hive fleet kraken.

John Blanches ilustration.

I don't make the rules, I just think them up and write them down.

That is an impressive array of waterpistols and other "kinky"stuff that you have brought together !

Are you going to "coat" the outerlayer in places to facilitate deltailing and painting  ??

Hmm i don't know if I understand correctly but i say: Yes. I'm going to coat it, but nothing fancy just some spray paint under layer, the rest will be painted with airbrush, details will be painted by hand :). But it's still a long way to first paint layer. Meanwhile some progress on the overall shape.

What I meant is that the plastic you used for various parts of the model is sometimes prone to resist painting, without preparing it.

I know for a fact that most spraypaint will have trouble creating a functional layer too, at least one which wont peel away.

Well i had this problem once with some proxy tyranid spores but when one spray failed the other one worked just fine. There's always acrylic paint and a brush if something would be really paint -repelant.

I may build also my own this winter, but It will be Saint-Han  ;).

I´m not sure if your were thinking in doing it but try to add towers and cities,

You just need evergreen sticks

Well actually I was thinking a lot about what to use as cities. I And I ended buying an OOP "Spacefleet" game for models that would be perfect for it. Also i have quite a collection of various eldarish bits, like cocktail glass markers that would be perfect for representing spires  ;)

here's a pic of an old gothic cruiser with perfect city structure, not my pic.
