A formation of Predator Destructors!

I have some annihilators to paint as well...

I had a go at the squad markings on the front but I find them super hard to do.  Gave it my best shot, though!

Nice painting ! Love the snow too.

Shadowing with complementary colour is ambitious. I think it may be better to go that way by melting paint rather than using it as wash in the deep parts of the relieves (don't know if i make myself understandable).

But well, still, they are really nice :)

I think I know what you mean - I was attempting to copy a much more impressive Space Wolves army I'd seen online.  I'm not sure I have the skillset to do it properly but I felt it was a successful experiment.

The snow is the best GW technical, 'Valhallan Blizzard'.  It's even better than using the Woodland Scenics snow, which had been what I put on my Dark Elves bases.

A blister pack from 2012 finally painted, hurrah!

Now I can have two squads of mixed Predators. Not sure how often I'll field them but I'm really proud of them! I think I made the pack markings a bit clearer than the other ones!

Thanks, Marell!

I've found someone locally who knows the E:A rules thoroughly and he has been teaching me the rules and also how to properly build lists.

Knowing you're actually going to get a game is a great inspiration for painting old models!

Totally agree. Playing games pushes you to paint that next unit/brigade you want to field.... :)
Thanks for sharing.

I thought I would have had this done a couple of weeks ago, blimey.

A couple of space wolf drop pods.  They're the original GW ones, but mounted on 40mm Renedra bases as I thought they would get chipped more easily through handling if they were plain metal.

Thanks!

The GW 'Valhallan Blizzard' is so easy to use it feels like cheating.  With a lot of the GW 'technical' paint pots I have been very skeptical, but this one is a life saver. Wish I'd had it for doing my Dark Elves in Warmaster!

Polished off two formations of Long Fangs, tried to make them 'pop' visually so at a glance they don't get confused with Grey Hunters.

Is it the snow you're talking about ? I have never used it.  Do you know if it remains well with years ?

And what is it you are using ? New GW range ?

Yes, this is the new range of 'Technical' pots including the blood, Nurgle, 'verdigris', rust and grime effects.

I have only just started using it, but after a few months there is no discolouration or yellowing as far as I can see!

OK, very interesting. I did not know this Valhallan Blizzard existed. I have just checked a tytorial on yuotube and it seem great.

I will buy and test some. Thanks again ! :)

The Valhallan Blizzard is the one new GW product I think I'd swear by!

Polished off some Wolf Guard!
