Your silverhelms are really nice Stormwind. Did you think about choosing a different color for the gems? In my opinion something like purple might fit better.

Ooh, that's an idea! Might try that on another unit.

Very nice.  Personally, I think the red gems work well as a contrast.  But I can see purple working too.

No offence intended.  I think they look good.

Sorry, just realised my reply was lacking in the appropriate "!" and "=-P" faces so seemed humourless.  Yeah, as I was painting them I realised "This... this looks a lot like pi..."

I've already started painting the 2nd unit with the same symbol.  Oh well. =-P

It's important to appease the gods of probability when playing WM, so a variety of mathematically-based symbols/runes might be needed!?

Finished off my dragon!

It's hard to get a good focus shot on such a gangly figure.  I found it a bit of a chore to paint but at least it's better balanced than the Chaos Dragon was!

Proud of the result, will varnish and static grass it tomorrow.  Onto bolt throwers or command stands next probably.

That is also looking good.  Based on previous dragon experiences, it might be worth weighting the base a bit as gangling can equal toppling.

Nothing to do with the paint-job which is excellent...but why do GW always insist on giving riders on flying things headgear that you most definitely would not want to wear while flying?

Head held slightly back and a little bit aerodynamic?  There is at least a swept wing shape to the wings on the helmet?!

You forget that he is on a big throne with a huge back taller than his helmet, that's what he is pinned to. =-P

And if the Orc-killing doesn't work out, he can always get a place on the stage at the Moulin Rouge?!
